we had a 300 with seasonal disconnect. I had to take the small screw out of the lever move the lever past the edge of the lever and use a washer and put the bolt back in it must have gotten bent but it worked like that for years Another way of using the tractor if the pto is not used is to leave it in gear. The whining will stop in gear. maybe easier to start in the winter with seasonal disconnect but with pto spreaders snowblowers, feed mills the pto is need all year longso why disconnect.
