It would help if you would pull each bolt out (one at a time) that secures the top plate on the transmission housing, and coat them with a silicon sealant. This helps them from allowing water to move into your transmission via the little bowl shaped areas around the bolt. The water tends to travel through the lock washer that is being used. I did this on my H, and now, if you do not blow the water out of them, it will be there until it evaporates. Just a thought.
