taking red and glens's advice, i got a new condenser and 6v coil for my '52 cub from my local napa, to solve the problem i had with the cub sputtering and dying after 30 min - 1 hr after starting. the condenser went in fine, but the coil i got from them was much too big in diameter to fit where the old ih coil was. besides not fitting inside the retaining strap, it was hitting a bracket on the engine. does anyone know a good place to get the correct fitting 6v coil for the cub? i cut an acre of hay with the cub after replacing the condenser and it would sputter a bit, then would come out of it off and on but never did die.
