There were a few experimentals from 1947-1949 with conversion gas engines that would have looked somewhat like gas blocks. They were start on diesels, and IH planned on making them either in DOncaster or Geelong, but it never happened. But if it had an FBH prefix like a regular H, it probably wasn't a experimental- was there a seperate tag on the engine marked with "International Harvester Industrial Power Engineering" or "Gas Power Engineering?
