It's owned and operated by the Midwest Old Threshers organization. They have a series of steam engines housed in a huge metal building, and all are supplied by steam from a central boiler, including the massive Allis Chalmers. The connecting rod alone weighs in around 1000 pounds. Other engines in the building include several Fairbanks Morse diesels that power DC generators. One FM (not pictured) has a footing with 12 yards of concrete. The group has a big gathering around Labor Day I believe.
