460 Farmall Hydrolic pump replacement/options?

My 460 should have a Y code 12gpm pump inside, it tested out as zero flow at rated preasure. How many hp will I free up by getting a GG code 7gpm pump to replace it? I do not have a loader on this tractor nor intend to get one, just need to raise wagons and light tilliage tools. Any other improvements to the system I should know about? The deal of having to switch the controll when going from single to double acting is a pain but I knew about that before I bought the tractor.
