Scott on the tranny plug, use a 3/4 inch extension on a rachet. It will open it up. Make sure you clean that area before taking out the plug. I drain the Hs in 3 places. The obvious one is the rear plug under the PTO. The front drain plug is under the liftall cover plate. You will get a couple of quarts from that drain plug. If you have a flat belt pulley, loosen up the 4 bolts that hold the face and pulley in the casting. Tap the pulley out about 1/4 inch. You will get a good quart of oil and WATER from there. I usually let the H drain for 24 hours. When you get ready to refill with 6 gallons, save 1/2 quart to fill in the filler plug on top of the flat belt pulley.
