The Cub 154 is basically a redesigned Cub. It has the same engine and transmission, but not the drop axles, front end, etc. A loader for a 154 Cub is probably a $500-$1000 piece of equipment, and 154s in good condition will run up to $3000 for a really good one. For light duty this combo will be OK. If you are going to do heavy lifting, you do need more tractor. Other tractor brands with loaders (Fords are popular loader tractors) you can get a 30 hp tractor for about the same money. But if you are working in tight quarters and the lifting weight is not too high, the 154 can really shine...IMHO...Regards...BB
