WELL IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL ANY BETTER, I HAVE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME PROBLEM. I JUST PURCHASED A "M" AND ITS DOING THE SAME THING.MINE HAS BEEN SETTING OUTSIDE FOR THE PAST FIVE YEARS. I HAVE CLEANED THE CARB. BUT I CANT GET HER TO START, ONLY HIT EVERY NOW AND THEN. I HAVE CHASED DOWN MY WIRES AND IT IS O.K. CAN ANYONE OUT THERE TELL ME WHAT THE BASIC JET SCREW ADJUSTMENTS SHOULD BE JUST TO GET HER GOING THEN I CAN FINE TUNE IT. I THINK THIS MAY BE PHILS PROBLEM ALSO.I CAN CHOKE MINE UNTIL IT STARTS THEN IT WILL STOP HITTING. WHEN I RELEASE THE CHOKE IT WILL HIT A COUPLE MORE TIMES AND I CAN SEE GAS RUNNING FROM THE AIR INTAKE SIDE OF THE CARB. WHEN THE GAS STOPS RUNNING OUT THE TRACTOR STOPS HITTING. MY NEXT OPTION IS TO GET MY GREEN TRACTOR OUT AND PULL IT UP AND DOWN THE ROAD, BUT ITS NOT THAT BAD JUST YET. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
