Ralph, The Red: Thanks for the tips. Before posting the message, we had changed the fuel, did the choke routine (which your're right about), and adjusted the mixture slightly. This does not act like a stall, but like a shut down. As soon as you release the starter switch, the engine stops (just like I had hit the on/off switch). We by-passed the on/off switch; the problem repeated. I can't find any loose connections or shorts in the wiring. The spark test at the coil and plugs is confusing. I can't really see a jump in the spark, but it started after the test. I'm stumped. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Many Thanks.
