Thanks so far for the replies, I think at this point I am going to look at the check valve assembly that is mounted in front of the seat/toolbox. That sounds like a pretty good idea. As far as it being normal or the nature of the beast I guess I should explain that while in first gear and about half throttle when I try to put the plow down it bogs the engine down to about idle speed (without the plow even touching the ground)and if the front rolls up againt a pile of sod I would probably stall. This has to be worse that normal????? One more thought that just hit me. The tractor is plumbed up for a loader and has a small head tank above the gas tank that is just about full and then the normal hydraulic sump must actually be over full. This is the way I bought the tractor. Is this the way it should be piped so that you have the extra capacity for the loader cylinders? Either way could this be part of my lugging downward motion on the hydraulics? Thank you again for all of the help.
