keith, you might want to search the archives on this topic. this thread has come up several times before. my cub does the same thing, and the first suggestion is to start using 40 wt oil in it. also, people suggested, since my cub use to use non-detergent oil, to drop the pan and give it a good cleaning to get all the old oil out of there.
