Bama, I was looking at the clamps on my M the other day and I think they are double nutted, in otherwords,take off the outside wheel nut and remove the wheel clamp, the inside clamp is still nutted to the wheel by a second nut which also holds the inside part of the clamp. Remove all the outside clamps and your rim should slide off of the wheel,leaving the inside half of the clamp still in place for reinstalling..I hope that sounds clear.
