How much you can pick up depends on the pressure the system is putting out and the geometry of the cylinder and 3 point lift system. With a 4 inch cylinder over 9000 lbs of force should be generated by the cylinder if you are getting 750 PSI. As I said what you can lift with that depends on the rest of the system set up. You can get an approximate idea by measuring how far the lift arms move at the ends on a full stroke of the cylinder. Then divide that measurement in inches by 8 (the cylinder stroke) and the divide 9000 by the previous result. (If lift arms move 24 inches, 24 divided by 8 equals 3 and 9000 divided by 3 equals 3000 lbs of force) That should be the force generated at the ends of the lift arms. What you get at the end of the boom pole will be still less. And..have you put a pressure gage on the lift all and measured the pressure to be sure you really have 750 psi?? Hope this helps.
