I guess I'm in a dilema. When I got the bearing yesterday, the parts guy at the counter told me it shouldn't turn after I tried to turn it in front of his face. I questioned him a couple of times. He assured me it wasn't suppose to turn. He said both the old and new style bearing is not suppose to turn. That's my problem. I didn't know and assumed he did know the answer to my question. So, I've practically got the tractor back together. I pumped a couple shots of grease into the single zerk fitting that's on it. I'm not sure what the grease lubricates (bearing or collar)? Maybe is will turn once it comes in contact with the fingers. Heck, I don't know. I'm just an oak tree mechanic. :-)

Worse case scenerio...I split the tractor again?
