I use a Super A (similar) with the L59. I've only cut 3 acres with it once last fall. It did well through knee high broom sage (typical field grass in VA). Power is no problem. I could not run full throttle in 1st because the ground speed gets too high. I am planning to turn the rear wheels dished out full wide. These Woods mowers are high speed, high vacuum and I think it will pick up the run over grass. Regarding stability, rear wheel width is what matters since the front axle pivots. Don't know the 140, but if it's geared a little lower and has more power, I'd be tempted to consider the 72". Maybe the dealer can give you a demo before you buy. David
