Look at any OTHER brand tractor like an Oliver, jd "B", Minneapolis-Moline of the 40's to 50's vintage with steel disc wheels. The 9-bolt hub is the heavy cast iron hub that clamps to the axle that the rear wheel bolts to. MANY aftermarket companys made hubs to fit the 2-3/4" axle on the M's, 400/450/560/656 series tractors. I don't ever remember seeing a 2-1/2" hub, but I'm sure someone made a hub that would fit the H's axle. Just make sure the keys in the hub match the 2 keyways in the axle, 3/8" wide X 3/16" deep I think. The number of bolts in the wheel are insignificant, as long as you find smaller diameter wheels that bolt to them.
