To Denny Frisk: I recently saw a Super H-TA in the process of being restored. All the major castings had a "Z" date on them. That would indicate a 1954 manufacturing date. Was this a prototype or one of IH's many manufacturing changes? I have seen 53 Super H's that have the front bolsters with cultivator brackets cast into them and 54's without the backets. It's all very confusing. Can you shed some light on this?
