My 140 is very tempermental about trash in the opening at the bottom of the fuel tank. I replaced my metal line with a two piece rubber hose and some quick clamps. All I have to do is disconenct the hose and blow some air into the tank to clean the opening out. Eventually everything will pass through and settle in the bowl. Just everyonce in a while things get plugged up. hopes this helps
