I would agree that the M is a lot more tractor than the 8n, on the other hadn it is a lot bigger and harder to do things in tight places where the 8n excells. as far as the 3 point lift, don't know what you have, but if it is a regular 3 point it should work on your ferguson type implements. What problem are you having getting it to work? if just a different category pin size you can always get adapters.
