Keith, Here in southeast Pa. a BN in decent shape would go for maybe $700 - $1100. Add on the woods mower then maybe $500-$1000 more, again a lot depends on condition. I would look at it this way. If you really want the mower, thats probably on the high end, but, not a bad price if everything is in good shape. If you don't particularly want a mower, it's high. I would be a little concerned about the gear grinding problem. It sounds like the clutch doesn't release, though it may only need adjustment.
