William - Keep in mind not all Super M's have live hydraulics. Early production (often referred to as stage 1) tractors were not so equipped. Also later production (stage 2) could be purchased with the live pump deleted for credit. A quick, rough test for the live pump: Run the motor about 1/2 speed then push or pull the remote hydraulic (4-way) valve rod from it's center position. If the pump's working you should hear the pump load the motor down slightly. Also any hoses on the pressure side will move (try to straighten) a bit.
