Larson-Swanson Company at Fort Dodge Iowa used to
have a square plate in their catalog that looked
like a wedge from the side and had 4 corner holes
in it. You placed this between the Steering
bolster and the front axle pedestal and it
straighten or made the pedestal more perpenticular
to the ground to make the tractor steer a little
easier. Not as easy as power steering but much
easier. Also be sure the lower bolster bearing is
clean and greased.
