JDM, i know the frustation that you are having. these sediment bowls have a strange way of acting. first remove the bowl and see if you have full flow from the tank. second, put the bowl back on and see if it fills. if it doesnt fill, just loosen the nut at the bottom till it does fill. then tighten it again. i've found in most cases this is the way that it works. you have to get the air out of there before you get any kind of flow of gas.its an air lock. third, if the gas isnt flowing properly from the tank to the bowl, there may be dirt or something in the shut off screw blocking off the flow. the flow from the tank to the bowl isnt a straight shot. there is a dog leg in there that can trap dirt and little pieces of stuff. i have seem pieces of lead in there and other derbis that when you shut off the gas supply, it will jam itself on the other end of the shutoff valve causing a block. the only way to make sure its clean it to drain the gas and remove the whole sediment bowl and take it apart and clean it. the shut off can fool you. it might look clean, but it might not be. forth, make sure you vent is working on the filler cap.and use clean fuel. and make sure you tank is clean. ok. i hope one of these suggestion work for you. just my 2 cents worth
