I have a Super MD. They are a good reliable tractor. The trick is letting them warm up good and not using too much throttle when switching to deisel and allowing them plenty of time to cool befors shutting them down after working them. I just found out that IH recommended switching them back to gas before shutting them down. Been doing it wrong all my life. Not many Super MD's around. Good Luck
