I blocked the frame @ the front axle on both sides, then I blocked the nose so it could tip forward to far then i blocked the TA tube in place so the front could move in any direction. I then used the engine hoist to grab the front of the tranny housing while reaching over it from the rear. I disconnected the tranny from the TA tube first then rolled the rear end away. then I blocked that section in place so not to move. then I lifted the TA tube out with the engine hoist after connecting my hand crafted splitting stand. I opted to move the rearend out because I didn't know how I was going to keep the front wheels rolling in the same direction since the tie rods had to be disconnected for the split. I figured the front end stationary would be safer.
