Char-Lynn is an EATON Ind.item. Hydraulic pumps like cleanliness, but these pumps are very rugged. If you think it needs to be rebuilt, however, find a rebuild kit ($15.00 ?) from a supplier of Eaton parts. Rebuilding difficulty is a cross between a carberator and a distributer, and requires a mechanical sense and possibly some special tools. If you (or the previous owner) have dis-assembled the motor, it will need to be "timed", which is a careful lining up of parts during assembly. Follow directions.
