Duffy: You are sharp in looking at small details. Another point is to check for side to side slop in the mounting hole. Try moving top tip of pedal side to side. Some are so bad they have welded a bracket to the outside. Check wear on throttle linkage too. Clutch linkage too..etc. Many small details can indicate the type of use and amount. ralph
