It won't hurt to run your C with the radiator not pressurized. Just make sure you have sufficient coolant in there, because you are going to loose some along due to evaporation. However, I would take the radiator back and make them redo their repair. I've had several old Farmall radiators fixed and never had a problem with any of them. Right now my C is running without any pressure because it needs a new cap and I have not gotten one yet. I am not using it for any heavy work, but don't think that would matter unless the weather is really hot.
