Well mister smarty, I blasted and painted it before taking the engine apart for rebuilding so that i can inspect for sand inside and fix that problem if any got in. I also know enough to stay away from seals when blasting. I restore cars for a living, and have blasted for many years without any problems. In this part of the country, all the old tractors are rusty, and I have seen a great number of them blasted and painted, and have heard of no problems with engine bearings. If you think what i am doing is stupid, that is your opinion. You have the option of not reading my posts.
