I would guess they are an aftermarket wheel. There were a lot of companies that made wheels to retrofit steel wheeled tractors. In fact, most of the wheels from the factory were made by other
companies for IH. The common round spoke wheels
were made by French & Hecht. If they look factory
made and not cobbled together you may consider
leaving them on. It would be no different than
any of the M&W add on options that were put on many tractors. If you must have it as it left the factory, then they are probably not correct.
