I have a tee at the carb, line from pump goes in one side, line from little tank goes in other side via a shutoff. If you don't use a shutoff, the pump will back-fill the tank and make it overflow. Not good ":^( I have a drawing of the original plumbing, I need to get that scanned, the question comes up every now and again. I'll scan it at work Monday and post it.
