Cultivator: Front universal mounting frames were red, main cultivator frames were blue. Shanks, standards, spring teeth, multi-spring tooth bracket, clamps were all black. Shields were blue. Teeth and sweeps were unpainted and covered with shellac that was to be removed before use. The cross bar that went on the rear rockshaft on very early versions was probably red. The right front frame had something like "A-144 Cultivator" stenciled on in yellow. A few of these colors may have changed from time to time, or even original vs. replacement parts. For example, blue clamps. Plow: Essentially everything was blue, except the face of the bottom and the wheel of the coulter. They were shellaced. The depth control rod that ran from the right Touch Control arm to the drawbar could have been red. Was the model number 193? If so, "A-193 Plow" was stenciled on top of the beam.
