Greg, Norm's resonse is fairly accurate, but I've run a snow blower on a little Allis without live power. It wasn't ideal but it worked until you got deep heavy snow then you would stall out,if you clutched, the blower would plug...but I blew a lot of snow with it. I now use a 584 and run a 6 foot single auger at around 15-1800 rpm. The 584 is around the 40 horse range and it does a great job. I have an M and two H's and I think the M has the balls to run a blower but without live power.. Keep in mind the size of the blower..7 1\2 foot double auger???? I don't know..smaller blower..likely. Good luck from Mike Soldan in Exeter Ontario
