Jeremy, I paid $800 fro a WD9 with a cracked head which had not run in three years. High end running I have seen a WD9 for $3500 not restored but running. These tractors are heavy ( about 5850pds ), if not cooled down right they tend to crack the head, they are big so people tend to stay away from them, I don't know why they are a very neat tractor and a big part of IH history. A WD9 has drawbar horsepower of 48.45 and the engine displacement is 335 cubic inches. If you do a site seach for " WD9 " you will find alot of infromation reguarding this tractor. However this is not alot of picture around the web of WD9's, more of WD4's & 6's because the were smaller and easier to haul around so people tend to restore them more so I have been told. Hope this helps I'm looking forward to restoring mine with the help of a number of people's help from this board :o)
