I finally gave someone some advice thats worth something. I live in Western NY so I guess it makes us very long distance neighbors. I had my problem several years ago so I can't remember the size of the pin but I think it was a very small one and I cut a small nail to the right length to fix it. Maybe someone else can recommend where the buy the pins or a better material to make one. The pin is obviously soft and a nail may be a bit harder. I don't think anyone makes a bolt that short any more so while you have it apart you may want to figure out how far the bolt can stick out and not be a problem. Good luck.
