Nick, I bought a running MD several years ago for $900. I completely rebuilt it including overhauling the engine. You can easily put $1000 into the injector pump and injectors. More than $1000 into other engine parts. If you totally rebuild it like I did it can be an expensive proposition. You can never get out of it what you put into it depending on what shape it is in. As one MD owner told me - "I nearly broke the bank restoring that MD". Roger
