Interchangeable Tractor Tires?

I've heard tale that rear wheels from an IHC 22-36 will fit my W-40 tractor, while front wheels are interchangeable with bearing modification. Anyone been there/done that?

I've also heard that a 6 cylinder W-40 engine can be replaced with an IHC truck engine of the 1930's. If true, what truck engine model should I be looking for?
