they never did wide fronts were not seen in this part of IOWA turned to slow and not quick wide fronts were a never heard of thing for row crops cult wouldnt fit now good for pulling a moldboard plow terrible for a mower on and on have to think what these were used for when new on a farm hope this answers your question

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
