Sounds to me like you need to change the fluid before spending a bunch of money rebuilding the pump. Even if the pump is weak, the fluid will thin out when warm and performance will degrade. If the fluid change doesen't help, try switching to 30W non-detergent motor oil. It might make the pump a little slower cold, but should help the warm performance a bunch.
If you want to rebuild the pump anyway, get a manual and a rebuild kit from a dealer. Most often all the pumps need is new o-rings and seals. They are pretty simple and easy to rebuild, just keep everything very, very clean!
