If I got your attention ,it is over an outlet on the manifold of my Farmall H..to hook up to a milking machine..not unusual for tractors in the 40's and 50's. Wade H. sent me up a heat shield and it looks like the vacuum cock is going to have to go. I am curious. Was this a dealer installed option, did it come from the factory or did someone drill and tap the intake to get a vacuum source? It looks like I need to get a threaded plug to solve the problem. The heat shield should fit like a glove.(If you read this Wade the shield brazed up and is perfect). I'm going to light this old H up on Kerosene..and I bet I can churn out some" Ponies". Just curious about milking with an H, and the history behind it. I retired this week and my old tractors are going to get some love and care. Mike in Exeter Ontario.
