I just painted a Super M. First time ever to use a spray gun and automobile type paint. Ol Bob at an Auto Parts store fixed me up with Acrlyic enamel - PPG Omni Paint. One Gallon of Paint, One gallon of reducer and one quart of Hardner for $73 total inc. tax. NO primer but he said that would run around $50. It was easier than i thought it would be and looked good. But don't know anything about the long term. I haven't done the Front cover, the hood or the gas tank. I put three coats and used three quarts of mix. 16 oz of paint, 13 oz of red and 2oz of hard. I am going to finish the middle of March.
