Why do they list compression # in the I.T. books that seem unreasonable high? EXAMPLE my C301 motor is +.060 has about 38 hours on it, plugs read good she will idle down to 300 rpm's pulls strong, yet I can only get 130-135# consistant with open throttle at cranking speed warm and they say #175 er so have seen this in other engines also and have tried other gauges too thanks have a good one Geo.
