There was a manufacturer right here in central Michigan a few years back, building corn heaters. They were touted as being very efficient, and easy to operate. Don't know if they are still in business, but their product looked like it would last for a number of years - very nicely constructed. If the fuel is cheap, go for it!

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
