Lou go ahead and retorque. I was amazed how far off the nuts were when I retorqued at 2 hours. Not a single one was near 80 footpounds. Don't forget to recheck the valve clearances after re-installing the rocker arm assembly. After you run it an hour or two, you might want to drain the oil and get it analyzed for water content. If you still have some, then you will have to figure out what the problem is. No need spinning new bearings from water in the oil!! I also retorqued at 30 hours. The ones around the two middle cylinders (i.e. where the heat congregates) were off slightly. Let us know what happens!!
