Rubber seat bushings

Just finished replacing the rubber bushings in the seat on my C. Did the same thing a while back on the MD. Man what a job! Does anyone have the secret to how to get those bushings in there. Especially the ones that go at the pivot point. The ones on the shock absorber are not too bad, but the ones at the pivot are really hard to get in there. Sure would like to know if there is an easier way.
