Hi Red, I was speculating that if a conversion was done wondering if some missed checking the coil. From the IH article it would appear that fouling could be a problem and if I was remembering correct some of the guys complaining of had just completed or just bought a tractor that been converted. I take it you don't think it's a problem or a possible cause? T_Bone

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
