IT sound to me like it is time for major surgery allonf your pony power is going out the breather ,a new set of pistons and rings a good valve job will make life all well in Whooville. I would highley recommend going with the 184 CUB lowboy pistons and the carb upgrade you will gain alot of power ,ofcourse it costs a littel more but i personaly think that it is worthe it.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
