Should be similar to my MTA. don't think it matters which side it hooks to, mine is on the right side because that is where the hydraulic valve is. I think I will eventually get another cylinder for the other side as it will lift a lot more. If you are using the belly pump you will only have up pressure so you have to put the cylinder so it will lift and weight will bring it back down. good luck on your hitch, really makes it more versitle
