I always presumed it was Stanley (with an N), but my memory's not much better than my keyboarding. Think my wife's dad still has a couple on his Oliver's - I'll try to get a look at them tomorrow.

For what it's worth, I routinely see tank cars with "A E Staley" painted prominently on them spotted on the siding at the local corn syrup plant. Seems sorta unlikely this outfit also makes tractor mufflers...
